That's right.
A third-party provider as travel insurance
One major advice: Never purchase travel insurance from the same tour operator or cruise line with which you're traveling. If that company goes out of business, there may not be money to cover your claim. Use a third-party provider (that includes travel agents).
Adequate travel insurance
It is vital to make sure that you have adequate travel insurance before you travel. Your policy should provide cover in case of medical emergencies, but also have options that allow you to provide cover for all the activities you plan to participate in during your trip. It is also important to make a list of activities that you plan on doing - such as extreme sports and scuba diving - in order to provide accurate information when looking for cheap travel insurance.

Hotel crime
Hotels, inns and even simple bed and breakfast places are great fodder for kicking up the horror muse in all of us – hotel crime. So try to have fun with it. Go to hotels that have haunted pasts and try to book yourself and a friend or two for at least a weekend stay. Take your notebook and pencil or pen, and if you're daring enough, a tape recorder, and do a little ghost hunting of your own. It is recommended a camera to get hotel crime video, but I don't think most ghosts like their pictures taken. May be you are a big fan of the show Ghost Hunters which is usually shown in the United States.
Detectives in hotels
Detectives who work for retail stores, hotels and other public places where theft is always possible, are mostly responsible for controlling losses, stopping theft and protecting assets. In the case of hotel detectives they protect the hotel guests and their belongings against theft and also police the hotel bars and restaurants to prevent undesirables from causing trouble. Because of some of these duties, many of these investigators may have at one time been trained law enforcement officers, as the job can often get very ugly.
